Ugh. Whoever wrote this episode clearly was some dude who’s watched too much television and thinks the ladies only like sparkly jewelry as presents.

Because we’re really meant to believe that Felicity (a) would want the ugly bracelet and (b) would believe that Ruby would be upset/jealous because Noel got her a present that showed he really knew her and cared about her?

I’m sorry. It’s possible I’m just upset because no men have bought me any diamonds recently. I feel so unimportant and non-sparkly!

“I want to go out with you again.”

“Is this better?”

“Uh … that’s really pretty.”

If we ever needed evidence that Felicity was trying to sabotage Noel and Ruby’s relationship, the fact that she says a drab grey cardigan is “really pretty” and a good Christmas gift says it all. I love cardigans. I love cute colourful cardigans, I love fussy granny cardigans, I love unflattering grandpa cardigans. I love almost all cardigans and even I think that is one ugly cardigan.

A Palm Pilot!?

“I couldn’t take it any more. My dreams, our nap … all these things were adding up to some pretty unmistakable conclusions. I had to confront Noel, and I’d just have to live with the consequences.”

Oops.

I mean, sure, not as bad an oops as drunkenly making out with Noel in front of David’s mother, but still, snuggled up with your ex-boyfriend on the couch while his girlfriend is out of town? Not ideal.

I thought with time, the dreams would stop, but they haven’t. In fact, they’ve just got more intense….

Is it a coincidence that they’re both wearing grey tops with red trim?

It can’t be. If this was Lost, then people would be drawing all sorts of conclusions about it. Yet more evidence that JJ used up all his ideas on Felicity and had to re-use them for Lost.
