Question…

I just had a thought. I would reblog a picture of Keri Russel, Scott Speedman or Scott Foley without thinking, but given how many pictures of him there are on Tumblr, should I also be reblogging all the pictures of Rob Benedict? He’s not a major character in Felicity, but he is quite a popular minor character.

So, readers, it’s up to you … what should we do?

I know we mainly focus on how old Scott Speedman was in season 1 of Felicity (those legs!), but this scene prompted me to look up Keri Russell and Amy Jo Johnson’s ages on IMDB because even though I knew Keri Russell was playing a bit below age, Amy Jo Johnson looked ridiculously miscast.

And it turns out that Amy Jo Johnson was almost exactly my current age when she filmed this scene (puts to shame how people sometimes judge me by my attitude and think I’m more 25-26 than I am 29. It probably doesn’t hurt that I have quite excellent taste in under-eye bag/wrinkle concealer makeup, but even with that I haven’t passed as a teengager any time in the last 8 years). Kudos to her for only failing to pass as a teenager occasionally, but COME ON, how much do these casting agents want us to suspend disbelief?

Keri Russell: approx 23, playing approx 18-19

Scott Speedman: approx 24, playing approx 18-19

Rob Benedict: approx 27: playing approx 18-19

Tangi Miller: approx 29 playing approx 18-19

Scott Foley: approx 27, playing approx 21 (Seems reasonable in comparison to the others)

Amanda Foreman: approx THIRTY THREE YEARS OLD playing approx EIGHTEEN OR NINETEEN! (I love that Greg Grunberg is actually pretty much the same age as her, but he was played as her “older man”.)
